Daniel Liss joined Beacon Legacy Law™ as an Associate Attorney, bringing decades of experience in estate planning, tax law, and wealth preservation. Prior to joining the firm, Dan founded and led a counseling-oriented estate planning practice focused on helping individuals, families, and business owners create thoughtful, practical plans to protect what matters most.
Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, and a Master of Science in Taxation from Georgia State University. He has been admitted to practice law in Florida since 1994 and in Georgia since 1995. In addition to his legal credentials, Dan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and previously served as a Principal Tax Attorney for NextEra Energy Resources, LLC, giving him a deep and sophisticated understanding of tax strategy and asset protection.
Dan works closely with individuals, families, and family business owners to design estate plans that are both legally sound and personally meaningful. He advises clients on wills, trusts, powers of attorney, incapacity planning, and wealth transfer strategies, always tailoring his recommendations to each client’s unique circumstances, goals, and family dynamics. His approach is strategic, detail-oriented, and highly client-centered.
