In a world where legal services can often feel impersonal and transactional, Beacon Legacy Law stands as a beacon of light—guiding clients through important life decisions with empathy and a commitment to service. A Foundation Built on Entrepreneurial Vision and a Commitment to Service Attorney John Mangan founded Law Offices of John Mangan, P.A. in 2010. John’s path to estate planning and probate practice was unique. With a background in financial services and real estate investing prior to beginning work as an attorney in 2008, John brought a unique entrepreneurial perspective to the practice of law. After earning both his law degree and MBA, John initially entered the real estate market, finding success in residential property investments. When the real estate market shifted, he reconnected with his interest in estate planning and trust work, eventually establishing his own firm. "It was challenging having to do everything myself," John recalls of those early days. "I was answering the phones, doing the drafting, meeting with clients, and handling the signings." However, this hands-on beginning established the foundation for what would become our firm's hallmark: personalized, attentive service that treats each client as an individual rather than a transaction. In 2024, the firm rebranded as Beacon Legacy Law. The name change reflects our evolution from a solo practice to a comprehensive estate planning firm with a lasting legacy of its own. The lighthouse in the logo—a symbol dating back to the firm's founding—represents our team's commitment to being "that light in the dark for people going through life’s trials and tribulations."
